Emico are embracing Mental Health Awareness Week.
In order to understand how our people are feeling, and how Emico could potentially support, we asked our colleagues to complete a feedback form. Our aim of this was to take key words and messages identified, share these, anonymously, across the business and identify any areas where we could improve to support our staff even further. Please see below some of the key / common themes that have come directly from our people.

Based on the results of the survey, we have identified that financial anxiety is one of the leading issues among our employees. In an attempt to combat the financial anxiety experienced at Emico, we will be introducing an Advance Pay and Company Loan Policy for our PAYE staff. This has been designed to describe the parameters around advance pay and company loans. We hope this may be helpful for an employee who experiences an unexpected cost or emergency and needs funds earlier than their payday or a company loan to help ease an immediate financial burden.
