One of our key skills is the refurbishment of mechanical assets, particularly where operational continuity is vital. We have worked on many Network Rail and London Underground stations and depots where operational continuity was the key deliverable. At London Bridge Place, we designed and installed the new mechanical services whilst ensuring that London Bridge station remained operational. At Ilford and East Ham, Emico procured, installed, tested and commissioned the new boilers and systems for both depots. Emico removed and disposed of the redundant boilers at both depots, including both the amenity and shed boiler rooms at East Ham. With the new equipment installed and working, the crews at these vital depots were free to concentrate on keeping the railways running.
